I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace. I love thee to the level of everyday's Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for Right; I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise. I love thee with a passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death. 。
I open my wallet, found no money I open my pocket, found no coin I open my heart, found you Suddenly,I realize how rich I am 。

多少年过去,多少地方多少脸都淡漠了,有的人已谢世,而我站在远方,夜那么静,我终于肯定 我最怀念的,不是那些终将消逝的东西,而是鸟鸣时那种宁静。《Ornithology in a World of Flux》It was only a bird call at evening, unidentified,As I came from the spring with water, across the rocky back-pasture; But I stood so still sky above was not stiller than sky in pail-water.Years pass, all places and faces fade, some people have died,And I stand in a far land, the evening still, and am at last sure That I miss more that stillness at bird-call than some things that were to fail later 罗伯特·潘·沃伦(Robert Penn Warren, 1905—1989),美国第一任桂冠诗人。

再别康桥 徐志摩 Saying Good-bye to Cambridge Again --by Xu Zhimo 再别康桥 徐志摩 Very quietly I take my leave As quietly as I came here; Quietly I wave good-bye To the rosy clouds in the western sky. The golden willows by the riverside Are young brides in the setting sun; Their reflections on the shimmering waves Always linger in the depth of my heart. The floating heart growing in the sludge Sways leisurely under the water; In the gentle waves of Cambridge I would be a water plant! That pool under the shade of elm trees Holds not water but the rainbow from the sky; Shattered to pieces among the duckweeds Is the sediment of a rainbow-like dream? To seek a dream? Just to pole a boat upstream To where the green grass is more verdant; Or to have the boat fully loaded with starlight And sing aloud in the splendor of starlight. But I cannot sing aloud Quietness is my farewell music; Even summer insects heap silence for me Silent is Cambridge tonight! Very quietly I take my leave As quietly as I came here; Gently I flick my sleeves Not even a wisp of cloud will I bring away [诗] 我的父亲是我的英雄 My father was my hero, all throughout my life. The father of eight children, he saw his share of strife1. When I was very little, he appeared to be so large. In my eyes he could do anything, we all knew he was in charge2. He was a man of great strength both physically and in mind, but in him there was a gentleness, he found ways to be outgoing3 and kind. Many days of childhood were greeted with a kiss, and songs to me as I awoke, those days I surely miss. He made me feel so special, “Miss America” he would sing. I knew I had my father's love. It gave me courage to do most4 anything. From him I learned to stand up tall, to be proud of who I am. Strength and determination were the qualities of this fine man. As the years of his life dwindled down5, that strength kept him alive. Plus the unfailing determination to help my ailing6 mother have the care she needed to survive.
